Wedding Videography That Tells A Story
This isn’t something we take lightly, but we want you to understand what truly goes into recording and editing your wedding film. Many couples do not entirely understand the true scope of wedding videography, but we aim to educate all of our clients regardless of budgetary constraints on what constitutes a reasonable price range for wedding videography.
Our wedding packages are moderately priced and investments start at $4,500 with couples on average spending between $5,000 and $6,000. Between time spent filming and editing each film usually requires a minimum of 40 hours of labor, which is approximately $115 to $150 per hour. All of our wedding packages include a videographer for up to 10 hours on-site to make sure EVERY detail is captured. Then to take all of that footage and edit it down into a cinematic masterpiece takes another 20-30 hours.
Our videographers have invested in professional filming, audio recording, and lighting equipment, well over $40,000. That is much higher than what a typical wedding photographer has invested in two cameras, lenses, and off-camera flash equipment. As a rule of thumb you should expect to pay 1.5 to 2 times what your photographer is charging for wedding videography. a
