Melissa and Raymond’s day began with excitement and anticipation of the events to come. The bride, effortlessly stunning, prepared for the ceremony at the Portland Regency alongside her bridesmaids. Raymond and his groomsmen prepared for the ceremony together at the same location, dressed in their sharp suits for the big moment ahead.
Before the ceremony began the couple shared an intimate first look, a quiet moment just for them to exchange personal vows, away from the hustle and bustle of the guests. Their beloved puppy, Summer, also made an appearance for the photos, adding an extra touch of sweetness and fun to the day.
A Reception Filled with Love and Laughter
When the ceremony concluded, guests transitioned to cocktail hour, where Melissa and Raymond’s unique details took center stage. Their wooden tree guest book provided a beautiful alternative to the traditional guest book. Raymond’s best man, Tom, delighted the guests with a special musical performance as they awaited the couple.
Dinner at Grace was spectacular. Heartfelt toasts from Shannon, the maid of honor, and Tom, the best man, brought both tears and laughter in equal measure.
As night unfolded the dance floor came to life. The newlyweds did their first dance to “Stand by Me” followed by a lively swing dance that Melissa shared with her mother. The energy continued as guests joined in, dancing to a carefully curated playlist that represented the fun loving couple.
