From the coast of Key West to Wentworth by the Sea. There are love stories that just unfold in the most magical ways – much like a quiet proposal on a pier in Key West, where Victoria turned to Cam to find him down on one knee, catching her by surprise as he asked her to marry him.
That moment, a lot of planning, love, and excitement, led them to their wedding day on September 30th, 2023. Surrounded by their family and friends at the breathtaking Wentworth by the Sea Country Club, the couple said “I do” with the ocean as their backdrop.
The Perfect Venue: Wentworth by the Sea
The venue sits alongside the stunning coastline of Rye, New Hampshire. Wentworth by the Sea is the wedding venue of dreams. With generous, sweeping views of the Atlantic, a beautifully maintained golf course, and an elegant sail-cloth-tented reception space, it is the perfect setting for romance. The couple were struck by the venue’s classic New England charm and the views of the harbor, making it the perfect place to begin the journey of a lifetime together.
Guests were welcomed to the venue, greeted with coastal beauty and the timeless elegance Wentworth by the Sea has to offer. The ceremony space looked out over the water, offering a serene and picturesque setting for Victoria and Cam to exchange their vows. The reception tent was transformed with soft lighting, elegant décor, and personal touches that the couple carefully selected to reflect their love story.
A Day Filled with Love, Laughter & Unforgettable Moments
Heartfelt moments were plentiful. Victoria shared a first look with her father and stepfather- a deeply emotional moment that set the tone for the day. Victoria and Cam also left each other gifts before the ceremony, opting out of a first look but adding a personal and sentimental touch before the walk down the aisle.
The couple included fun and meaningful details throughout the day to truly make it about the two of them and the life they had built together so far. From table escort vases that were the center of the décor, to hot sauce party favors – a spicy nod to their very fun-loving personalities. Every aspect of their wedding was intentional, and the elements truly reflected their personality and relationship.
With a guest list of 150 of their closest friends and family in attendance, the celebration itself was nothing short of spectacular. Guests arrived to the venue in formal attire, adding to the elegance of the evening.
A Reception to Remember
After the newlyweds shared a first dance to “Lighthouse” by Dirty Heads, the energy of the evening took off. The dance floor remained packed as guests joined in for a night of celebration, fun, and laughter. And, true to the couple’s expectations, some wild dancing! One of the most highly anticipated moments of the evening was the sparkler send-off where Victoria and Cam made their grand exit, surrounded by family and friends and the beautiful light of the sparklers, marking the perfect end to their wedding day.
Love Worth Celebrating
Victoria describes Cam as funny, shameless, and caring, while Cam describes Victoria as caring, fun-loving, and funny combination that makes their love story one for the books. Their shared love for travel, trying new breweries, discovering new restaurants, and cheering at sporting events is just the beginning of their adventure as husband and wife.
As the sun set over Wentworth by the Sea Country Club, it was clear—this wasn’t just a wedding; it was a celebration of a love that’s as timeless as the ocean views that surrounded them.
