The Ceremony
Upon arrival at The Thompson Inn, guests were met with a warm and inviting setting. The stunning 18th century farmhouse, paired alongside the Cyderhouse barn, creates an intimate yet roomy setting ideal for weddings of any size. Beautiful views of fields, trees, and the serenity of the Lamprey River, it is no surprise it was selected by Kait and Kevin to begin their forever. The couple exchanged vows under the oak tree at the back of the Inn, a focal spot among the beautiful scenery, making for a ceremony that was nothing short of magical.
A Thoughtfully Designed Celebration
After the ceremony beneath the oak tree, guests made their way into the Cyderhouse barn for an unforgettable reception. With 120 loved ones in attendance the love and celebration that surrounded the newlyweds was palpable. The space was transformed into an ethereal space, with wooden beams, twinkling string lights, and elegant floral arrangements. The couple’s attention to detail and their personal style and taste shone through each element, from the carefully curated centerpieces to the heartfelt décor that embraces their personal love story.
Guests enjoyed introductions, a touching first dance to “All I’ve Ever Known” by Hadestown, as well as toasts from close family and friends. The venue was a place of warmth, laughter, love, and lifetime memories.
Sweet Endings and Lasting Memories
The couple opted for a delicious spread of cupcakes from Sweetened Memories and donuts from Lovebirds Donuts. This added a personal and fun twist to their wedding. As the night ended, guests left with full hearts and fond memories of a celebration that truly reflected Kait and Kevin’s love story.
